Angel’s Touch Massage appreciates your choice of our facility for your massage and bodywork session. It is our absolute intention for provide you with the best personal care and attention. Appointment times have been set aside for you, and for other clients who follow after your appointment.
In our commitment of provide an outstanding massage experience to all and out of consideration for our Clients and our Massage Therapists, we have adopted the following policies:
ARRIVAL TO YOUR MASSAGE
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows you the time to fill out the appropriate client form (new clients) and update any information if needed (existing clients), change and speak with your Therapist in a relaxed and unhurried manner.
We do understand that issues and emergencies occur. We can generally work within a 5 minute delay, but if time runs 10-15 minutes past your scheduled appointment time, we have to shorten your session in order to keep the following appointments on schedule.
The original treatment price will be charged
RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
Angel’s Touch will need you to reschedule or cancel your appointment 24 hours prior to the set time.
If you do not cancel or reschedule your appointment 24 hours prior, You will get charged a $25.00 fee, either by your credit card, package, or gift card on file.
After your first no show you will be asked to provide a credit card number when you are scheduling your next appointment.
WALK IN APPOINTMENT
Walk in appointment requests are welcome and will be fulfilled if there is availability.
OTHER MASSAGE POLICIES
Prior to each massage session, a treatment plan will be discussed with you. At your first visit with us, you will receive a copy of the massage therapy policies and will be asked to sign, to signal an understanding of the policies in place.
GIFT CARDS AND PACKAGES
Gift Cards are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase. Packages are valid for 2 years from the date of purchase. After 2 years the remaining value on the Package will revert to the dollar value and can be used for regularly priced services for 3 years.
SCOPE OF PRACTICE:
Angel’s Touch Massage Therapists are licensed professionals, and are dedicated to a code of ethics and behavioral guidelines standard to the American Massage Therapy Association.
-Massage Therapists can not diagnose or treat a medical condition without a doctor’s prescription. They are required to refer you for diagnosis and to follow recommendations of your physician
-Angel’s Touch Massage Therapists are happy to adjust temperature, musical volume, or pressure, work longer on an area or move on if you request it.
-Clients may choose to leave on as much clothing as needed for comfort, refuse any massage methods, or stop the massage at any time.
-Clients will always be draped. Only the area that is being massaged will be undraped.
-Occasionally, an emotional response to massage occurs. If this happens it is ok to express the feelings in our safe, nonjudgmental environment- or you may request privacy and end the session.
Illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances made by clients will result in immediate termination of the session, and full payment for the scheduled appointment is required.
The breast and genital area will not be massaged under any circumstances. Permission will be requested before working close to these areas.
Low back, hip and gluteal are will be massaged only with permission and will be worked through draping if requested.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND CONVERSATION
The discussion between the Massage Therapist and the Client is confidential. The Client may or may not choose to talk during the massage.
We are happy to listen to your conversation and share our professional expertise. We prefer not to discuss topics of a political, private, or sexual nature.
It is the responsibility of the Client to keep the Massage Therapist informed of any medical conditions and ongoing treatments.
PAYMENT AND GRATUITY:
Payments are accepted via credit cards, cash, gift cards, or checks.
There is a $30.00 fee for returned checks
While gratuities are appreciated and accepted on credit card, we do prefer cash.
